Guest buster321c Posted April 19, 2009 Report Share Posted April 19, 2009 Me old mate Sean has landed on his feet , again ! with his latest purchase , an AA S410 , in .22 . I know he`s got others , too many others , but this one is new , and its a great feelin when you get a new toy to play with . I know he`s a crack shot anyway, and im sure this will serve him as well as everbody who already owns one (AA) will agree . Just so you get a taste , ive been out for an hour or so with mine today mate and had a couple , long shots but i got em . The first one came from under a bush and went just out if sight as there was a tree 10 feet in front of me , so i slowly passed the gun to my left shoulder and leaned to my left . I could just see him , so i put the scope to my left eye and thwack !!!! dropped like a stone at 35 yds . The second popped his head just above a tuft of grass , at what i thought was about 45 yds . I eyed him through the scope and thought , hes more like 50yds , but i can only see his head so if i miss theres no damage and he`ll just hop off . I steadied myself , as i was in prone position , lifted the scope to my eye and squeezed the trigger , and his head dropped down beneath the grass and i though ide missed him , then i saw his foot start kick out just to the side and though `Bloody hell , i got him ` !! Not only did i get him , but it was just behind the eye , could`nt have had a better hit at 5yds . I paced it out and reacon it was just shy of 55yds , might be wrong but it was further away than i had thought . Took em back to where i leave my bag and gun case , and the landowner came for a chat , he told me not to bother letting them know when im comming , just come whenever you like , and if you want to come into our garden about 6am there`s loads of the buggers !!! Its cheap as chips and it dont matter if it gets a bang on the fence or dropped in cow shit for the money . Its as good as anything you would need for airgun range , and clear enough as well . You remember the one that had a dodgy turret ? You were going to fix it for me ? Well i had that one when i got the gun , i emailed them and they replaced it , no question , i had no proof of purchase or anything , thats good customer service i think . , got flip ups and sunshade with it too . atb mate Quote Link to post
