The one 8,598
I like a descant sized jill and even if ones in heat i can srtill take four jills out for a full days ferreting and they work altogether no problem . Quote Link to post
StephOC 6
I have 2 average jills which work ok, and one thats fat. She quite often pulls the nets down which is a pain. I've wondered about people who prefer hobs for working as surely they do this too? Will be very interesting to see what people say. Quote Link to post

sikastag_1 689
i work hobs and jills sizes varying from big hobs to small jills, fixing a net doesnt take long, some ferrets wont go through the net because of experience they know youll lift it for them, small jills can get tangled in a net aswell with locator collars on so doesnt really matter in my opinion i want ferrets for all occasions to do all jobs fixing a nets the least of my worries. stealthy1 3,964
A fat hob wont work very well because of its weight, so I'll go for the jill. Quote Link to post
