sue 1
Out of curiosity how many of you keep your bitches in for the 3 weeks when they are in season ,The reason I ask is I dont and nearly ended up in a fight the other day with another dog owner .I had been out in the woods with my three and had to walk back through the visitor centre as I wanted to call in the shops on the way home anyway my 3 was all on leads but there is always one that isnt and of course it didnt listen to its owners comands ,after nearly 5 minutes of this dog hanging around it was close to my boot being in action but I controlled myself, when he eventually decided to claim his dog he had a go at me saying it was my fault for bringing bitches out like this ,now that was like showing a red rag to a bull to me and after several minutes of exchanging heated words and gathering a crowd of onlookers I might state most agreed with me I was very proud of myself for not decking this arrogent shovenist ba***d

Could you recall a dog from a bitch in heat? I would have thought the urge would be too strong.
skycat 6,174
I only exercise my in season bitches at very unsociable hours when I know that there'll be hardly anyone about: IMO it is just plain courtesy not to take them out and about when it winds up every male dog within miles.
