Guest Cal
Don't mean to offend anyone, but I would personally be mortified if any lurcher I owned chased a lure. I've always thought it was dogs that lacked a bit of the old grey matter or dogs that weren't seeing enough of the real thing.JMO. Quote Link to post
Guest MOLLY
Someone asked Hardfeather and myself to put our dogs in a display at the Midland last year, someone giving a talk about lurchers and coursing. The mistake they did was to show our dogs the lure...a fluffy foot Do you think they would waste any energy chasing that..damn right they didnt I was a bit embarrased actually, most of the people viewing probs wouldnt have realised why they did'nt chase it and probs thought we had dim lazy dogs Would probably be a good way of exercising the dogs if they would chase it MOLL.
