Guest air gunner
Hi i am looking to spend £40 on a scope for hunting i have a bsa supersport with a bsa 4X32 scope i have found that it is not ideal for hunting. this is becauce i cant get a detailed view of the quarrys head (rabbits) thus meaning i cant place the pellet reliably in the correct place on the head any further than 15yrds. This obviously is not great. so what to get?!?! My friend has a hawke sport hd scope this is quite good i think but what else is there and where should i buy from? would my local shop be ok? or any internet sites especially good? There's a lot of crap being sold that's not what it says. I've been stung twice (doh!) one a 'Tasco' and a 'Simmons'. Both total sh*te. I don't know if they're copies or seconds or whatever but they're no use on a gun. I've delt with Ramsbottoms before and had top service. Give them a go. Quote Link to post

Sterry 0
i agree eBay does have some shite. i brought a scope from sommit sunshines on there and it was the biggest pile of crap i've seen. got better accuracy with open sight (at least they stayed zeroed at the same spot after a shot) Quote Link to post
andyfr1968 772
Yeah. I think it's a case of if a deal seems too good to be true, it probably is. Stick with real retailers and steer clear of the 2 min wonders. Quote Link to post
Sterry 0
most shops have a few second hand scopes anyway Quote Link to post
