blp1774 7
I was in my garage last night having a smoke, and saw a cat walk past my driveway followed a couple of seconds after by something red.I thought to myself 'that looked like a fox',when there was a loud growl and a loud cat noise. opposite my house is a small wood that fox and cat are charging through, by the time i got to the road they ran straight out in front of me,veered left through my neighbours garden, back into the wood where the cat went up a tree(lucky b*****d). it was all over in about 20 secs.has any body else seen anything like this? I think where the foxes are breeding is a field about half a mile away in the gorse bushes.next to the field that has the gorse the is a lady who rescues cats (so she thinks) and they breed like hell. Was wondering because the foxes are so close they may have learnt to prey on them? ferreterni 29
Foxes and cat's fighting.. .. i find it hard to believe as the two of them are coward's when it comes to a scrap and i would of thought they would of just backed of from each other and went there separate way's as no animal that has to hunt for a living want's to risk injury..Millet No fighting, was a huge tom cat. Must have been a youngish fox. Cat just chased it out of the garden. Was suprised myself tought the cat would have ran.
blp1774 7
They wasnt fighting, the fox was thinking lunch. i dont really like either of them.foxes used to take our chickens.Thought it was strange for the fox because there is a grass field behind the wood with plenty of rabbits
