i had one like that i cut it right back to the ground and its started to grow a new shoot leave it in the corner somewhere and see what happens

Is that a yukka plant? If so it will grow back.

 

There was one in my nan's garden, had been there that long it grew into a tree. She had it cut off at ground level, and it's come back lovely now. :yes:

thats right they dont like frost to much, so give it a shelterd spot in the winter and dont over water it if there is any life left in the roots it will come back but will take a few years to be that size again.
