is this a sign of a hungry ferret?

Recommended Posts

i honestly dont know why your putting this up , cause the last time you asked for advice loads of people gave it and you choose to ignore it , and again why not just ask your brother ?? its not that hard , is it just attention your after ??? cause how bloody hard is it for you to fill up the water bottle, or go and speak to your mum and dad about it .

give it a rest man, in that OTHER POST WHICH HAS NO CORILATION WITH THIS ONE i did take the advice in but couldnt actually get to the vet so had to just watch the dog all night, she then turned to be alright and it was due to her eating a boat load of duck food...i then went and spoke to a vet and she said that she wasnt really at risk of her stomach turning because of her size......dont hyjack anouther one of my posts

i have asked my brother but it is imposible to get the truth out of an 11 year old chav!!!i cant go near the cage as im frightened of them and when you try and get the water bottle off it like goes up and down the bars which makes me crape myself

lets just say i dont get on with my anti hunt parents and are barley on speaking terms

do you think it would be a good idea to put some selotape on the doors so i can see if hes been in the cage or not as the ferret doesnt seem thin just mental but i have noticed him not going out there very much

All domesticated animals need 3 basic things food water & shelter from the elements , if one of these things is denied them they begin to suffer , there should be an adult supervising at all times , its no good blaming other people someone has to provide these 3 things daily , if it cant be provided then the animals should be homed elsewhere

I have 2 greyhounds here & there care is shared as a family thing , i leave notes on a wipe clean board for my husband , such as '' dogs fed '' etc , that way it ensures the dogs are neither over or under fed , theres water in there dishes at all times & its topped up by either of us when it needs it doing

Its called communicating , you really cant afford to fanny around , well he this & he that , if theres no water them fill it up , the ferret may be a lot of things but its not capable of filling its own water bottle /dish

I think all ferrets store food. Mine do it and i think i over feed mine lol!! But more to the point i would try and comunicate with your brother for the ferrets sake. Get some leather gloves like falconry gloves and go for it..handle the ferret. I did just that and i am cured. I love handling ferrets. I wouldnt be scared of them. there quite a kool animal to get to know. Maybe you will enjoy some ferreting if you grow more confident with them. I mean you probably already go ferreting, but it makes it more fun.

Good luck
