Is it possible to order ammunition over the internet at all in the UK?

 

And if anyone is using .270 what sort of prices are you paying?

Mail order and firearms = NO.

Yes it's bloody stupid, and it means that I have to work very hard to get the powder (though it can be delivered, delivery cost is high) and bullet heads I need

the other month i had 10000 shotgun cartridges to my door, do the government not consider these deadly enough to kill people, you could do a lot of damage with that lot, yet you cant had rifle ammo delivered.

heres a question, can you get slugs deliverd, there shotgun ammo, but you need and FAC to buy them?

You don't just need an FAC to buy slugs.

 

You need an FAC with the relevant condition allowing you to purchase and hold slugs. Also, Slugs need to be put through a shotgun that is on your FAC.

 

The only reason these days that they will give you slugs is if you shoot "Practical Shotgun" or if you have a need for them for live game.
