FELL TYPE 56
below is an email iv,e received from Barry wade Ive posted it on here because i thought it would be of interest to some of you . if the link does,t work try copy and paste Dear All This year is the 25th Anniversary of the NWTF and at long last we've got around to setting up a website which hopefully will serve to promote responsible terrierwork to a much wider audience. You can access the site by clicking on this link.... www.terrierwork.com For as long as I can remember the terrier world has been plagued by a small group of riffraff, for want of a better description.... "the dog thieves". There was considerable discussion about their activities during last year and it was felt there was a real need for some sort of facility whereby once such thefts did occur information could be distributed as quickly and widely as possible. To that end we've set up a "Stolen Dogs Alert" section on the website, where we will publish any information we receive relating to such activities. It's one thing for the information to be available, but it's another thing to ensure everyone is made aware immediately any thefts do occur and this is where you can help. I'm writing to you to ask you to sign up to the mailing list on the first page of the website. You won't receive frivilous emails, but you will receive an immediate notification once details of any new thefts are posted on the site. Please forward this email on to all your working terrier contacts and copy/paste on any forums to which you may subscribe. Remember it could be your dogs next !!!!. www.terrierwork.com Thanking you in anticipation - Barrie Edited March 20, 2009 by FELL TYPE Quote Link to post
Waz 4,293
Theres one here. When I see a post of STOLEN DOGS I pm the poster with a link for the stolen pages, and my email to send info to add on the site. More often than not dont hear anything back from them!. The page was built because people from all over Europe and a lot further afield check the site and its been rumoured that a dog stolen from UK or Eire could end up a lot farther afield Edited March 20, 2009 by GD Waz Quote Link to post
