mattydski 560
IMHO 1/2 and full is too tight for a general purpose gun. If I wanted an all round gun, I get a 28" or 30" M/C or have a fixed choke of no more that 1/4 and 1/2 Sporter or field not trap. But thats only my opinion.. Matty Quote Link to post

Matty cheers matty not to bothered about choke can always have it bored out, more bothered about the actual trap gun and if they are suitable or do they shoot high and would become frustrating learning to shoot with it. Deker 3,491
If it is a true Trap Gun it will shoot high. Reason being, in trap shooting birds are taken on the rise. This is a different setup to a sporting or skeet gun and could prove frustrating....but if you get to know your gun then you will get to know where it shoots, ....not a great problem until you use another gun and will think it shoots strange!
