the dog could lose half his teeth and still be ok at all quarry ...........

dont worry pal, a friend of mine several years ago now whilst out lamping his dog struck at a rabbit and collided with a rock resulting with half its upper canines being smashed up,but this never indered the dog,and it lamped for many years after. regards collie john.

Have seen dogs loose all the enamel from all or nearly all the teeth, this is called distemper teeth, as he dogs have actually had distemper and got over it, sometimes without the owner even being aware of it. Teeth on these dogs never got any worse, never fell out or anything, just looked unsightly.

Strange it just being one tooth

him and his brother played pretty roughly with each otehr till they were 8months and big dogs.....don't know for sure but i reckon they just smashed teeth together one day!!! they used to hit each other at full pelt....at least he should have conviction for some larger quarry species
