J Darcy 5,871 Posted March 9, 2009 Report Share Posted March 9, 2009 A nice LT Tit there mate. Amazing how they survive the winter living on such meagre scraps. They will be starting to build their gorgeous nest now i should imagine. Actually, despite their name, not a "tit" but related to a tropical species called a "babbler". These birds are especially prone to corvid atack, and i must confess to be rather spurred on when i think of their tiny eggs to cull the local magpie population hard as i can.
