Teach yourself spelling its GAELIC not gailic!! (I'm only messing ;) ) I'm glad your taking up the language  are you aware its not officially recognised by the UK/British government?? It was banned from being spoken and taught in our schools at one time and you could be transported for seven years for conversing in it!. The English and Welsh language is recognised by the department of work and pensions along with Vietnamese, Urdu, Cantonese Punjabi and a multitude of East European languages but the three native languages of Scotland are not?? GAELIC, DORIC and BROAD SCOTS are deleted from the dwp's list as confirmed in a letter I received from them when I queried the anomaly  Some-one in Scotland can have a government medical conducted in Welsh and English and the other languages mentioned earlier but not in any of their native tounges as these languages are not catered for??

as usual there are the idiots that have to bring us down to a minority we as a country are backward at languages as we are that arrogant that we expect everyone else to speak english which most the time the people of this country have trouble speaking any way
