MrA Allready has Deer condition, but FC demand DSC, and will not let us even negotiate leases without DSC2.

Not sure if the same condition is true south of the border.

Needs Must. I'm afraid

It's just a money making scheme put about by the BDS....B.A.S.C. and others..............Martin.

In principle I tend to agree with you, and more and more regions are insisting on DSC before granting the deer condition, even though it has no basis in law!

Apparently the likes of the FC are looking for it too before handing out contracts!

Nothing stands still, we all know that, and times change, but there was never any of this malarky back in the "good old days", and I can't say I remember a whole load of grief back then!! :hmm:

The condition for DSC2 has only come in this year, it used to be DSC1. Rang up to get the tender dates this year, and they wouldnt even register my interest????

Considering I only did DSC1 to be able to tender for FC leases 2 years ago, I am a little dissapointed to say the least that they have moved the goal posts yet again. :hmm:

I've had an open ticket for 25years but never paid it much attention. The DSC is a way to controle stalkers and there ability (don't know if its good or bad).

I have had info about the issue of FAC's, if its target shooting you must be a member of a home office aproved club , ect , ect, ect........... but the latest for owing a 22 or center fire for stalking or vermin control you have to show not just a use but also competence to use such firarm. Before you can use an MOD range you must have the relivant trainning certificate which you can obtain through the NRA.

I know that this is money making for the shooting organisations. But my way of thinking its giving the Poilce less to refuse my renewal.
