jon15 14 Posted February 26, 2009 Report Share Posted February 26, 2009 Am just about to start home loading and I was wondering if any of you could help, i want an all round load for deer and the odd foxs, I would be grateful for any advise, bullet weight, load, hollow piont or BT, currently i am shooting a 95gr BT federal. From the couple of friends of mine that shoot this calibre I would say (as we are talking mainly deer) to go as heavy as possible that your rifle will accept. As someone has stated H414 is a good powder for the 243 Quote Link to post

Dont know where you live from your signature, but if you know some one who has a lot of experience with reloading, him standing over your shoulder is worth a thousand pages from a reloading book. Dont forgat to start approx 10% below the book's max powder and work up from there. Quote Link to post
