they werent border money

But if they were sold as Borders, irrespective of what you paid, you was still conned; plenty of people on here knock the KC registration scheme and - admittedly - it has been, and can be, abused, but at least the breed standard helps to preserve the breed. One good thing Daleboy, if it isn't a true Border, at least you won't have a long wait for it to enter.

Notwithstanding, if it was a pure Border, what would have been Border money? £500? £400? Unpapered - £200? £150? Now it's not a Border, what's it worth? £10?

The irony here is, if Daleboy had paid £500 and it was a true bred, papered, working, showing, all-singing Border, then the seller would have been 'in it for the money' and the dog would have been oversold anyway. You can't win.

Fukk me, there's enough people on here who can't wait to slag Borders or their owners; now the man's been sold a mongrel, everyone's an expert and forgotten Plummer's 'notoriously slow to enter bollox'.

I'm probably gonna get slagged for this, from the KC Standard:

'Colour

Red, wheaten, grizzle and tan, or blue and tan.'

A true wheaten hasnt been seen for over 20yrs Nuv, it appears they have died out, shame.

Sad indeed.
