25 Does it for me Perfect  although an inch smaller or inch taller doesn't make much diff. for the ground i work but no smaller than 24 and certainly no bigger than 26 just my preferance but alot of it depends on the ground you run and the Quarry ;)

Size, colour, shape, sex, looks etc arent important to me, the only thing that matters is the style of the dog. It has to be fast, agile, determined and have a strong mouth and high catch rate as well as plenty of stamina. This is just the general outline of what I like in a dog, the essentials if you like, if it doesnt have these its no good to me. I have other things that I prefer in a dog, but am willing to overlook them as long as it has these basics. If were talking about coursing, again aesthetics dont matter much to me, but style and kill rate do, I like a determined dog that can boss a hare and hold it in one field, killing it at the first available opportunity. Theres nothing that sinks your heart quite so much as watching a dog get dragged about all over from field to field. They have to be able to work them to a standstill in any size park and then bust a gut to lift them, which is always the hardest part :D
