Guest foxyjo.
jamie and foxy jo what age did the cubs (foxes) live to Mine died from probable poisoning at about 6 months. I've known old tame foxes though. Jamie, somebody was going to move them into a less shot bit of country and a pro hunitng one. However, he thought they were older and brought me the whole litter in his coat. I wasn't very impressed and my then OH & I took them back to barn where they were found, and we re-made the den and put them in it. (obviously trying not to get too much of our smell on them). Went back to check the next day and the vixen had moved all of them except mine, which she'd left out in the open. We thought it was dead, she was very cold and lifeless. But she made it. I used to let her come and go as she pleased, she'd just got to the point where she was going out at night and coming back in the morning. It was summer so we used to leave the door open for her. One morning, she was just dead on the kitchen floor. On closer examination it seemed as though she might have eaten something poisonous.
