dytkos 17,942
afternoon guys, just cleaned the hutch out, changed the bedding etc, so i thought i would give the ferts a bit of a wash. what do you guys do? just warm water in a bucket and give them a rinse then a dry? do you use pet shampoo or anything like that?(no sniggering at the back )thanks for your help tony hiya tony, ref ferret washing, plain warm but not hot water usually does the trick, but if you've got a real mucky one mild kitten shampoo does the trick! my ferrets don't like the washing but enjoy being dryed off after! Dave, Birmingham. I'd never recomend using any sort of shampoo etc on a fert but they don't mind the water. I use a garden mist spray on mine in the Summer when it's hot, not for cleaning just for cooling and they love it. Cheers, D. Quote Link to post
