just brought a sack of beta greyhound food, you can use on pups as well , this stuff can be fed soaked or dry , as me iams i,ve been using there is a quarte left, i also use raw meat every day as well.

but this greyhound food should do a treat as lurcher as 5/ 8 greyhound in , so if its good enought for grey hound it should be good enough for yer running dog , and for a 15 kg sack it £11.99 from pets at home ,

beta generally have a high protein content and if that is the case then you shouldnt be feeding meat with it .... to much protein is bad for your dog ........

hi matey, on the sack it says pups 3 times a day , so if i fed meat 2 aday and beta greyhound 1 aday do you recon that would be ok . cheers savageboy

I feed all my dogs on beta greyhound and they all do well on it. I don't feed pups on it though, they get pro plan puppy.

hi matey , me pups doing very well , she,s just had her second injection and has gone from 6lb to 11lb in 2 weeks so she,s growing fine and looks well . , so i,m buzzing , no problems with food with her . cracking pup luv her to bits cheers buddy savageboy

fed my dogs for over 2 year on Beta greyhound,but like it was mentioned in another reply too much protein is bad for dogs.A couple of my dogs cant be fed it cos on one it sheds hair through it and the other dog gets dry patches.I always give a couple of spoons of vegetable oil in with the feed.This is to help put more fat in the diet it also gives them energy and a better coat.I also feed vegetables in with it to balance there diet out.

hi matey , i been thinking about protien , right am i right .

pup eats 3 meals aday ,

meal 1 chicken wing

 

meal 2 1/4 a chinesse tub of beta greyhound fed dry. i leave it there all day and night , she eats bits when she wants .but she does not eat it all at once i end up topping it up the next day

 

meal 3 1 lamb bone small, quite a bit of meat on it

 

plus water there all ways . now am i right in saying she gets the right amount of protien per meal,

 

so would this diet i,m feeding me pup be ok , on the beta greyhound it sats you can feed it as soon as they are eating , .

 

now as for veg oil sounds good but would cod liver oil be better once a day. cheers matey savageboy
