well of the day on some new permission so had big expectations so got there about 9 went along hedges for about 1 mile done a few sets but nowt then into a wood i had done as a boy about 20 years ago a few sets looked no to bad but nowt thick with briars etc so left it walked about 2 mile no sets did 1 set beside a burn 1 bolted but ran along the burn then across a field for about 500yards then into another wood nowt so went lower down did a 3 holer bang a bunny it was 1.15 now a lot more sets nowt then i set long net job ferrets in bang a bunny then nowt for a while found them at 3ft whilst digging both came out but still got the bunny then another long net job 2 ferrets down then out pops a stoat as it was running along the hedge it put up a bunny a few more sets then homeward oh i also got electrocuted twice once holding the fence to get over then had shovel on it but still good to be out the young punk got complemented on about the lovely ferrets buy 2 passers buy so a right hard day again 3 bunnies :(must of done 5 mile the day easy

Been ther done that mate iv walked for miles sum days and had to then iv had nice big bags just 1 of them things its just nice to get out mate

yes did swear both times :realmad: dont know why farmers got fence on only sheep in fields will leave the set a while as no many bunnys about there when i was a young lad bezza i used to do some sets every week and get rabbits out of them have a dog but just a pup no hurry to get her into working hopefully shes still a bit daft the now am in annan should be some hares about since theyve stopped coursing a few years ago

Aye there is a few about I was down there last week and saw a few, the fields down your way seem to be very bare compared with other places Ive been lately, the ones I saw were on the edges of woods and in a small rough field, the fields are quite small and theres a lot of hedges so I would imagine you'd need quite a quick type of dog pre ban
