wag 13
i have had some good nights lamping in the snow on fox and rabbit ,i have also shot foxes without a lamp in the snow, we still spotted with the lamp.... then once we got the scope on them and started to call you can watch there every move without the lamp . but just remember they can also see you better in the snow too . IanB 0
Get yourself out, you won't need a lamp with all the reflected light, get yourself them lamp shy foxes.. Quote Link to post
Deker 3,491
Light is easier with the snow (which means you stand out more as well remember), tracks are easy to see/distinguish/follow, and even though bunny/fox/deer etc are not fans of this weather, they still have to eat eventually! The winter months tend to be leaner for many quarry, but they are still there!! Quote Link to post
green oval 8
We have our best nights on fox in the snow, Just sit on top of straw stack and wait. Last snow about a month ago we got 3 in 20 mins. We ain't got bugger all snow this time, most dissapointing.. Quote Link to post
