col g 0
well, ive been out with john-b tonight,in the space of an hour or so weve managed to get a brand new mk3 locator with two collars, some more purse nets and two new jill ferrets.im going to have my work cut out with the new jills as they are the sisters to the huge sandy ive got.theyve never been handled or been anywhere near a sett,so the challenge is set ( again ).ive got to get them tamed up and hopefully grafting before the season ends and breeding starts.im picking the ferrets up in the morning...happy days Quote Link to post

jazz_11 5
lol.... what i find annoyin/confussin is when i was out ferreting few weeks ago with old real tree (carl) he wud pick up my locator when my jill wa off the set but still in reach which means that when you have 2 ferrets in one set how will you get a accurate reading on either of them>? cheers jazz Quote Link to post
Brimmer 220
Your due some luck lads! Now get Bouncer out again and get some action shots, and also some of Col juggling those new ferrets! Also have a sweep over the dodgy set with the mk3, see if anything picks up! There are warrens on our land that are untouchable, you'll always have a few rabbits to go at with places like that. I would but i've lost my bloomin camera up there somewhere aswell, you guys must think we are like the chuckle brothers haha go up there in a wallace and gromit van with a flat coated retriever as a ferreting dog lose all our ferrets and gear but still have a good laugh, We will be out again shortly and I for one can't wait don't think Bouncer and Sally can either Quote Link to post
stealthy1 3,964
One or two dodgey warrens on my patch, one is in a chalk hill, the rabbits don't dig, they mine instead, if you lose a ferret on that hill, you'll need a pick n shovel to get them out. Quote Link to post
