Guest zazzara
my boyfriend is a brilliant carper he fishes on a river in london where the fish are whoppers!! his personal best is 44lb and last year he caught over 60 20-30lbs and quite a few 30-36lbs i went to meet him one day and when i got to the waters edge his alarm went screeming off and he struck into the fish........... he then told me to play the fish and reel him in.. (im always sayin fishing is no sport, u dont even break a sweat) and his reply is always "you dont know how strong these fish are" so there i was at the river side with a 17lb mirror carp on the end of the line, and it only took me 5mins to bring him in! my bf begged me to hold my FIRST ever catch!! (ive never really liked fish much, since my dad took me sea fishing and then scared me half to death with a flapping fish in my face!) well i covered up my hands with my sleeves and my bf plonked the carp in my arms and took a pic (its on my phone when i next get credit i'll email it to my address and put it on the forum) so i might be laughed off the terrier site, but hopefully you crazy carpers will take me seriously!! im new on here and very new to the net too.
