Fidgety 8
A question for all you fac users who invite other fac users to your permissions. Do you verify that the permission holder is allowed to have guests? Do you check the land has been cleared for your calibre if you are on a closed ticket? Any other checks? Be interested to know. Thanks Edited January 29, 2009 by Fidgety Quote Link to post

Thanks Good point. I am normally more careful when asked to go on to land that isnt held by FAC holders. You know the ones, can you help mr X with his fox control. I have open FAC, so clearance isnt a problem for me. I normally, and I stress normally, ask to meet the land owner. But when I haven't it normally is with people I implicitly trust. On my permissions, I have a written section on my authority letter to show guests that they are allowed. So I dont need to ask the landowners. Interesting though.. Quote Link to post

Fidgety 8
"Who are you ????? FEO " Good point! Like your angle, but no. Just starting to get a few invites to some very good plots, but dont want to risk running into trouble becuse I didnt check up. As Mattydski says, ask to meet the landowner, or see a written authority letter allowing guests. As a landowner myself, its a bit annoying to give permission to someone you know, then find they have invited their friends and family along without asking. Quote Link to post
