speedystu 0
Sunday night and our usual night to go out for a lamp!! A friend asked if he could tag along as he has never been lamping! gave him the low down phone off minimal chat and all the rest, i got him to drive as he hadn't been out before. started out on first permission lamped about seen five or six roes on the bottom field which are always their, continued across the farm and spotted a fox sitting high up on a bank(seen him a few night in the same place) he was about 250yds sat in a ditch between two fields, he was only just visible, just a set of eyes in the grass! gave him a squeak for about 2/3 mins and he wasn't moving. decided to move to permission 2, lamped about all areas and nowt which i cant believe as theirs a chicken farm next door!! went up to no.3, the yard is sat on top of a hill, so you look down on all fields nice quick lamp around and again nowt, wtf is on only 1 fox on 3 permissions, we called it a night and headed home back passed no.2 got to the last field popped the lamp up and bingo double bingo a pair that we have seen 3 times together. engine off pad out in position and go! lamp on 2 sets of eyes and bang first down and second was off, lamped the field in the direction he ran and he had stopped about 80yds away, bang you beauty got his mate! went home and had a cider!! P.s first a vixon and 2nd the big dog!! Quote Link to post
