Good Times, Good Craic

Well as some of you know, in return for me going over to Sounder last September, it was decided that last week, I would return the favour and organise a trip this side.

He hasn't seen much of my home town this past week, we've been traveling from place to place almost the entire time. From coming back to me from Bristol, we headed off the next morning to the Scottish Borders, to meet someone we both know, and who had kindly invited us to come up together, ScottishLass.

From there a few days later, we made our way to Lincolnshire to meet up with another mutual friend from here, Wag, who had sorted out some superb sport for the both of us.

It's fair to say that throughout the entire week, with all things considered, its the best I can ever remember. Being in great company the whole time, and putting names to faces in most cases. We both experienced entirely new things, and with it being only Sounder's second time in the UK, he had a lot to take in.

We had some laughs this week, from trying to teach Lass to clay shoot in driving snow and bitter wind, to trying to shoot Geese on the Wash, but somehow, the shot's were going wide :whistling:

The both of us thoroughly enjoyed the company, and our thanks must go entirely in the place of Lass & Hubby, Den and Wag and his family and friends. They made the week, no doubt about that, each and everyone welcomed us in and showed us around the place. We really can't thank them enough. ;)

I put my personal thanks to Sounder for making the trip back, he really is great company to be in and someone I'm very close to, it'll be strange going back to talking over the web again, but only for so long, he'll be back I've no doubt. I expect Mrs Sounder and the Lads will be waiting with open arms at the other end.

Once again, thanks to everyone that made the week truly special and one never to forget.

As Sounder would say, "Dat, Dat"

SS
