andy s410c 63
Managed to get out as the wind & rain decided to stop.Arrived at the top quarry just after 9am,bright sunshine,no wind .Only seen 6 or so rabbits run for the quarry wall so i knew i was in for a quite day, again .I ran the longnet around a set in the quarry bottom & netted a tree set in the quarry corner, bagged 1 from the quarry bottom. I moved up the quarry side to do the fallen tree set which normally holds 1 or 2 .I ran the qs round & placed a few purse nets around inbetween sliding around on the muddy bank I used the adult jill in here as the small jill is to quick & it's very hard to get anywhere quick with the amount of trees & rock lying around.Bagged 2 from underneath the fallen tree both out of the same bolt hole. The other week i had a 8ft mark on here under the tree, try digging that one out Brimmer I moved further along the bank running the qs as i went both jills ended up with a stop ender at 7-8ft while i waited for them i had a bite to eat & after 30 mins or so they both came out matted up.I tried a set further along the bank but no-one at home, aah well . The wind had picked up by now,i was thinking of having a go in the small wood but when i checked the time it was gone 2pm so i decided to call it a day.Still nice to be out but the last few months of the season are going to be a struggle by the looks of it End of day photo............... Brimmer 220
Nice one Andy mate. Looks like it could be a tough dig! How do you get your ferrets to stay in the box looking out for a photo? I'm sure you must tie them in by their tails! Keep at em! Quote Link to post
