adam1 2
Is this a silly question?, i have posted it before and its had plenty of views, but not one reply, im just a newbie looking for a few pointers because the last thing i want to do is get set for action then, well, nothing happen, because that would surley make any newcomer despondent if they do not know it may be a hard slog at the moment so any tips will be appreciated. I realise that a dark windy night is meant to be the ultimate conditions for snareing rabbits through reading posts on here so what other conditions are preferable, and is there any conditions when its simply not worth setting your wires and also any times of year not to bother. Also i've just seen on another newbie post ( that i suspect may be a wind up) the question" can you place snares at the entrance to a rabbit hole." ive never seen a reference to this anywhere and to be honest sounde feasable to me as a novice (however i feel i might endup red faced about asking this ). Anyway any help will be appreaceted. Adam Quote Link to post
stubby 175
if you can see rabbit runs in the field, then set snares on them, Im no expert on the subject, but if the run is visable, snare it, jusr remember to count how many you put out, and collect the next morning, make sure too, that where you snare, there are no non target species about, cattle etc Quote Link to post
Ratcherman 0
Get yourself a copy of woodga's dvd that will tell you everything you need to know from making the snares to setting them and catching rabbits Quote Link to post

Holdaway 2
Kobidog, rabbits run and move less cautiously out in the open, I can't say if you would catch in the mouth of the warren, but a few yards out where they are going to feed would produce better results. H Quote Link to post
