speedystu 0 Posted January 11, 2009 Report Share Posted January 11, 2009 went out fisrt thing this morning to zero the new rifle as i have just got it back from getting screw cut, nice mild clear morning with a steady tail wind. put the board(an old door) up at 150m in my top feild that the farmer has dumped a few loads of mud(good backstop), fired the round down, miles out made some what i thought were enought ajustments second went down and bugger me i went 15clix left and 10 up whitch made nearly no differance so 30 more clix left and 25up and bingo 5 rounds in a half decent group(with a tailwind). so looking forward to next week looking for some charlie. I didn't think for one minute you'd shoot at a sign, and even if you did you wouldn't put it on here, but I do know where the last poster was coming from. I have yet to see one of those countryside footpath arrow markers that hasn't been pepered. Some folks have no sense at all. Some of the National Trust are markers, (cast iron) round us have been shoot by .22 slugs Quote Link to post
