jackinbox99 41
I will have to upload a pic of mine. I got a spotlight off an old mini cooper, bolted it to a bit of U shaped metal. Then slotted a motorbike battery into the metal. Wired up via a headlamp switch of some old car and hey presto, spotlight on / off. Being a motorbike battery it lasts forever and MY GOD is it bright. First time out in the field it lit the entire field up like the police chopper does when its floodlight comes on. Only downer is that its a little heavy compared to some other lamps, but not really a problem if theres 2 of you - or if you just hold up somewhere and flick the lamp on. I did start to wire up a car alarm remote to it, so i could turn it on / off by remote control - but havent got around to finish it yet. Quote Link to post

You can get it from B&Q for around £5. Quote Link to post
