Lavasoft Adaware Free edition Another spyware removal program. Hijackthis install program Hijackthis scans what is running on your system, what starts when windows starts and anything internet browser related. Once installed, click the button for scan and save a log file. Once the scan has done, a text document will popup with a list of everything that is running. Copy and paste the log to a reply here and I will tell you if there is anything dodgy running on your system. Just be careful to read everything that any program tells you, as I have known people to delete stuff that is innocent or related to a program they use regularly. lilvixen 26 Posted January 8, 2009 Report Share Posted January 8, 2009 Agreed, Norton is no use whatsoever... You don't need to pay for anti-virus, a common mis-conception. AVG is good, as is ANTI-VIR. Make sure you've got a Firewall too, I use Comodo. Another golden rule is never have 2 anti-virus programs on your PC.
