fireman 11,236
Yes mate it is,you can as with fox hunting use as many hound/dogs as you want to find the line of the hunted, when you have found the line of the quarry to be hunted and the animal thats hunted knows it's being hunted then you can only use 2 hounds/dogs to flush it to a gun.You can how ever use as many hounds or dogs as you want to flush to a bird of prey, dogs are not allowed to bite anything alive apart from rats and rabbits. The people that make these laws are clueless fools in suits. Leave the coutryside to those who live and work in it i say and ban every other fecker Quote Link to post
fireman 11,236
What i have said is from the legal chap out of the cmw and is how he hunts mink week in week out,the same applies to stoats, squirrels, weasels even mice if your dog bites it when it is still alive your breaking the law.Now about the gun i'm not sure if a air rifle is by law(not just advised) ample enough to be the gun on a mink hunt, although you probebly get away with shooting a mink in a trap with one.Mistakes do happen on the hunting field as in any walk of life, just mind your not one of the unlucky ones caught when this happens.
