dog run help

Recommended Posts

hi all

just started to build new double dog run for my whippets, ive built a ship lap shed 6 x 5 ft which has 2 dog boxes 1 metre squared each with heat mats, just wondered what is the minimum size run i would need for each, at the moment the run is a single and measures 1.9m wide x 2.4m long, putting a partition in will make it 2 runs just shy of a metre wide.

Is this enough??

my whippets are both under 20 inchs tts, pup may be smaller at the mo its 16 tts at 22 weeks,

im also looking for some dog mesh to remesh full run and partition, dog bars or the security fence panel type,

if any body has any laying around pm me

any advice or opinions would be appreciated on my dilema

im not planning to get bigger dogs, pre ban lamping bunnys is what i was into. all my dogs start in large dog crates in the house to socialize with kids, house train etc then out into kennel,

just didnt want them to go into a kennel with a run that was to small,

cheers lofti you put my mind at rest.

lofti thats a tidy looking dog in the picture btw.
