Anyways, Question 1: Uppon filling out my FAC form, for a 22LR and a 223 for fox (hopefully) if i wish to include a sound moderator to these rifles, where to i put on the form that i intend to do so?

Question 2: As said above im filling out my FAC form, apart from knowing your quary and rifle safety, land boundrys ect. are there any good books on stalking ect, or just genral vermin control to broaden my knowlage of the art that is shooting.

When you have put down a .223 and a .22 in their respective slots.

In the next two empty slots, put .22 Moderator and .223 Moderator. One slot per Mod. And fill in the details in the other fields the same as for the calibres. A good reason for Mods are Health & Safety i.e. Hearing Protection.

As for books, I'm no expert on books. I have Foxing with Lamp and Rifle by Robert Bucknell. Two rough shooting books by Mike Swan, and I can't remember the other! Those are my three main books. :laugh:

Stalking I'm no expert really, I'll let the serious stalkers give you some recommendations.

Guru I am not!

Books i found useful are;

The Sporting Rifle by Robin Marshall Ball, and Firearms Law - Guidance to the Police 2002, published by the Home Office. The latter should be on everyone's bookshelf IMHO !

Bookshelf???? No, thats at the side of my Laptop in a very shabby state from flicking through it for this place :laugh:

Ive had a glance over it in the past, but i think a trip to the works printer is in order, not printing out 200+ pages on an inkjet :p oh and a trip to the local libary wherever it may be.

thanks for all this advice, its much appriciated.
