problem 222 bsa

right at 140 yrds i can get a grouping of 2'' then a shot will go out as far as 4'' what is causeing this .could it be ammo or scope i am useing 50gr ammo .or is just me wonky eyes ? i was shooting of a shooting bag and there was a little bit of wobble not much thou maybe enough thou

i use .222 and to be fair at that range your groups shoul be alot less than 2ins give the bore a good clean with hoppes bore clean remove all copper foulincg ect rest rifle on sand bag forend and but end to reduce wabble and try again

HI.

Are you letting it cool down after the flyer?

If it cools down then the group tightens again, i would say that possibly the barrel is expanding and touching the stock.

You may need to get the barrel floated.

If the rifle is new it may just need running in.
