well fox hunter came down yeaterday for a day hunting cover with myself and sionnach.We headed off around 8 to drive to the first cover which was a nice small valley with some wood in it .The terriers entered and well soon singing which meant one thing charlie was about .The first fox escaped up to a farm unseen by the lad staking out on that side .The second one came out on my side but after a long slip of about 300 yard the fox mads the cover .The second cover held nothing so we ventured the the third.Dogs were entered and the music they made was almost deafining.Charlie showed his face to fox hunter and his son but went back in but the terrier were right on him and ater a short course he was accounted for by sionnachs lurcher bitch.We then tried another cover and we met 2 but they got away .The last cover we tried the terriers were only in the cover id say 20 secs and another fox sped out and was accounted for .Fox hunters lad had a deerhoundx which was sliped in on the fox and by god he nearly broke the fox in twp halves ,what a brute of a dog an absolute savage with some serious strenght.We ended the day meeting about 8 foxes altogether killing two so a good day was had ,and sound for fox hunter and his son for travelling down and hunting with us two gents
