Travels today

Recommended Posts

I had cause to visit Thetford, Ipswich and Romford today....330 miles altogether, a fair bit off my normal patch and probably 30 years since I've been to Ipswich.

You are lucky folk over that part of the world, as usual, I spent more time looking at the countryside, fields, woodlands, backstops, quarry etc, etc, than I did looking at the road...I know, a very bad habit!!

My patch, Berkshire, is full of small holdings, commercial estates and tarts with 3 or 4 acre gardens...and neighbourhood busy bodies who can hear a moderated .22LR with subs 10 miles away...and complain non stop!!

Deker,

As mentioned previously next time your this way give me a call!

My missus and yours? can 'do lunch and shops' whilst we do bunnies!!!

I have to say I do feel very lucky to have so much to shoot on, I do however also have some 'large' pony padocks to shoot on but they are full of rabbits!

yes it would be nice to live somewhere other than here, whenever I go anywhere else, bar London, I end up seeing how much more countryside there is compared to here. Devon/Cornwall or Scotland would do nicely - somewhere where you can have a cannon and fire it pretty much wherever and whenever you like. That'd do nicely.
