fireman 11,488
Just found these mate some chunk to her up against her brother but he's no weaklin either, without being rude to the owner of the dog i can see why you picked her.One thing that gets me in all these x's is the strentgh and straightness of the front legs with a cover busting chest, just love that look they all have of bring it on i'll deal with it.Did they have floppy ears when they were pups that turn up later, say when they teethed?,ours have normal if not a bit houndy ears.Do you know how he's getting on at all mate? and sorry for the hundred questions. Floppy ears then one by one pricked, looked like cartoon characters one up one down then both pricked, yea I liked the look of her from the start ( long story) dog pup just started, owner field trials so slow to start, only 11 month but I started mine as soon as ready mentally and physically, only 21 inch but keen as mustard. Very alert and responsive. Quote Link to post
shell 42
They're smart! She's solid isn't she!!! Both a bonny pair though! Our pups ears are slowly starting to prick... they're at half mast at the moment. Go back when she's happy to see you when you come home from being out. Once she's changed her teeth it will be interesting to see what happens with them! Shell Quote Link to post

Shell Yea once they've got their back gnashers you will probably find she has pricked, the bitch is solid made, she is like a heavy built whippet, looks cloddy but deceptive agile and fast. fireman 11,488
The acd is a very deseptive dog to look at,faster than they look and very agile indeed. It's funny how teething changes a dog ears and how they stand,be a funny looking dog if a acd had floppy ears though. Thanks for the pics Wild Rover although they are making me wish the next year away mate when mine will be out there, still plenty to do with it in the mean time. What sort of field trials is the dog pup doing?,don't know what trials are all about to be honest, never been a gun dog type chap or know about the gun dog world. Is it dummies or retrieving shot game and hows he doing?,as i expect you need a steady dog with a very good nose. Think I may have confused you mate, the lad who has the brother field trials spaniels not the ACD hence he hasn't done much with the pup. I know you can't wait....... exciting times expectant workers.... do the usual good training and careful entering and the fruits of your labour will be rewarded. Don't forget the update photos.
