Depends, as a rule of thumb o/u tend to be bit heavier so its better for clays as your shooting a fair few rounds a day. Side by sides are lighter so easier to walk around with they sit on you arm bit more comfy. but all down to prference mine is side by side but just me

Its all down to personal preference mate ,ive got a sporting multichoke o/u and it does everything that i ask of it and it throws the lead whenever i pull the trigger it isnae fussy clays or game , but i would recomend getting a multi choke it has more versitility mate,semi auto's are great if you want reduced recoil though again all about what you want .......... :D

hi all im getting a shot gun just wanted to no is the o/u really a clay gun and not used as much for hunting.

 

 

Well i'm out shooting game tomorrow with an O/U (Berretta Silver Pigoen III 12 bore)

so I'll let your know what I bag!

 

 

Well a mix in the field but mostly o/u with a couple of "dad's old side by side"

Got two pheasant which was about average for the day - not many birds but great great fun!
