Karsten cheek-piece

Recommended Posts

never used one but it looks like you have to bore two holes in the butt of your rifle so those bolts go through then you can adjust the height of the cheek piece , i personally dont want any holes in my gun. but each to there own

Commenting after the horse has bolted from the stable but I'd have had the stock cut and made adjustable

Glad yours is working now though  I need to do something about my own stock at some stage, will do for now though.

Yeah SS, am chin welding instead of cheek welding lol. I'll look it up, but I had a beartooth (?) comb riser before and wasn't all that happy. Prefer to get the stock cut and a pillar of some type stuck in but with the thumbhole that could be a challenge...

i for got you had the thumbhole vss, so i don't think it will be much use to you either, i could lend you a hacksaw if you want to start cutting :o

That's an idea :hmm: My own is busted :o Then, if I use the angle grinder to chop the barrel, marble and grinding paste to do the crown all that's left is to figure out the threading, good tap and die set should sort that :clapper:

Oh yes, you can make anything out of wrigleys foil, duct tape, a swiss army knife and twine :D

Combine that with all my accumulated knowledge from the A-Team, give me a sweet shop and a garage and I can take over the world
