Air Arms s400

I have got the chance to buy an Air Arms S400 off a work mate. It is in as new condition, perfect in every way, no marks on it at all. It has a silencer but no scope. I have borrowed it with a view to buying it. I have fitted it with a scope off another air rifle and have had a few shots and I'm impressed (having previously only used an HW80 which I have had from new). I can maybe get it for £75. The owner has a bottle to fill it but won't sell me that, but says he'll fill the gun for me whenever I want so that's no problem. My problem is - should I buy it ( I think £75 for an S400 in the condition it's in is a bargain) or would I be better off with an S410 or some other multi shot (which I doubt I could get for anywhere near the same price). What would you do?

Buy it well worth it.

£100 is an absolute steal.

You could have a look at getting it regulated if you have a few quid left over ;)

What are the benefits of getting it regulated, how much would it cost, what does it involve and would it be worth it on a gun which is as new?

Not sure of the exact costs mate, but you send your gun away to the man (BTAS doesn't do AA's any more?). Regulating basically regulates the air used for each shot, giving you many more shots at a consistent pressure. You therefore get a vastly improved consistency in fps over a far greater number of shots. It basically means you get loads more shots without losing your point of impact :)
