stubby 175
why cant you use fenns or traps, used it the correct manner, would be a lot safer in a garden, and not so disturbing to the eye, if the homeowner was to glimpse a snared rat Quote Link to post
ferret boy charlie 0
forgot to add trailed through some previous post but didnt find much Quote Link to post

ferret boy charlie 0
this is a training photo, to do this for real everything has to be thinned what kind of wire would i need ? and what would i use for the peg ? Quote Link to post
Guest jbswildlife
dried hazel is the best for this. but i have caught on the picture setup. wire on the photo is a e string of a guitar but american airplane wire is the norm Quote Link to post
stubby 175
but surely, printing the above photo, would prove to her, that snaring has a greater danger to her cats and dogs, than a tunnel trap, if snares are used, could see the possibilties of this going tits up for you have you got public liability? Malt 379
What about a live capture trap? It would pose no danger to her pets then. Quote Link to post
stubby 175
What about a live capture trap? It would pose no danger to her pets then. although live catch traps are good, I use them on some rabbit jobs in gardens, to keep within the law, they need checking at least every 24hrs, so if its a "FREE" job, it then gets time consuming, Quote Link to post
