gave max a run last night for half an hour. not many rabbits about but he caught 5 out of 7 which aint bad, retreiving non existant but his strike is great .

he is 18 months, but still puppyish, he stands around 26.5tts and 30 kg / 66lbs

my bitch is roughly the same age as yours, heavily saluki bred. she never showed any incling at all to retreive, never bothered teaching her as she is mainly a daytime bitch. however i took her out on the lamp and after a few goes killing decent scores of rabbits she started retreiving perfectly with absolutly no encouragment so dont give up hope mate it will click soon enough im sure
