jamie g 17
Depending on the scope you want, if its that S & B for £350. Then £350 isn't going to get you a new rifle, but a good second hand one, and there should be something in .223 that you fancy. Perhaps a S/H Remmy, Plenty of CZ's about too. SS Its finding the bugger! Guntrader.co.uk Good place to start...guns for sale section!! Cheers guys. looking now. Im a lefty. not many lh .223's on there. do you think they refere to lh if the bolt is on the left? I dont mind the bolt on the right but the stock must be ambi or l/h. im a lefty mate but i perfer the bolt on the right you can keep looking through the scope when on bipod then and just recock with the right hand stocks like on the 700 remmy and winchester mod 70 which i have are ambi anway i would go for a mod 70 winchester there underated very accurate and better built then the remmy i think Quote Link to post

jamie g 17
You talking about the ranger jamie? the ranger mate ??? i see mate my sig you looked at ? no thats a 12 bore the top one on my sig the 22/250 is what im on about vader. its a mod 70 stealth here is a pic. im bias tho i like it because there great value for money, rock soild, has h&s stock so its soild, and on the usa forums they say how well they do in benchrest. it is heavy but i like hevy barrels anyway and because its very thick barrel it takes 5 shots to get it very warm ! not that you would have 5 shots out in the field one after the other anyway and what ever rounds ive tryed has shot good groups. ive shot privi,sako50gr softpoint, federal 55 gr softpoint, and winchester 50gr bt all shoot well. i have some 50gr vmax to try next homeloads Edited November 5, 2008 by jamie g Quote Link to post
