J Darcy 5,871
not watched it for a while, but dug the DVD out today. Suffering from a terrible bout of flu that would have levelled a lesser being. thankfully the DVD helped me along. superb footage and highly entertaining commentary make this film the best i have yet seen. HIghly recommended. JD

mackem 29,521
I bet the commentary was doubly entertaining when one caught the other fornicating with his wife "Come and see my rod" indeed Thats why they no longer film together

Guest Leveller
True traditionalists and they get results too proving you don't need all the new fandangled gear when you've got the knowledge and watercraft of those two and don't even start me on the legend that is Mr Crabtree. The men I most aspired to be like as a child sadly they are few and far between and true characters like them may never been seen again.
