quick shiine in northumbria

RABBITS :tongue2:

went upto a bit of land in Northumbria last night. to give the pup a few runs. I got there and at the chosen destination it was windy as feck, must of been 40mph. Anyway, my "favourite" fields were full of horses

I headed to the other side of the land, no horses, brilliant

I started lamping and it was going great, 1 out of 1, 2 out of 2, 3/3. THen the pup started missing a few, The rabbits were not messing about at the fenceline, straight through with no hassle. I decided to move off that fence line and run them down to another

A few more runs and it was now time ; - TO MOVE OUT THE FIRST FIELD

The second field did not prove very fruitful. An open fence line, into a rough area, gully's, trees, farm machinery etc.........

I got to the top of the field (steep hill + lamp/battery + 7 rabbits on shoulder + dog = a long walk )

I ran a few more rabbits, and was pleased to see Jet use his brains, when the bunnies ran down a large, steep enbankment, a one too risky to run a dog down. He stopped at the top, and watched the rabbit piss off

Moving away from that bank, i was to run the final rabbit of the night, and indeed the eight rabbit of the night/ Sadly thought the poor little critter had severe mixy, though still put up a good run. So it was left behind.

I made my way back to the car, thinking i've had a good 45mins, and i dont want to over-do the larl fella, and buggered off back home. I was in bed for midnight

All in all a good night, Jet is turning into a good little rabbit stopper, but a lousy retriever

there aint a picture, as my camera is in the menders
