IanB 0
Anyone use one of these rifles, had a look at one today in .22 LR and it seems a nice rifle, the trigger on it was two stage and very good... I've been told there similar or better than the anschutz of same spec... Quote Link to post

I've been told there similar or better than the anschutz of same spec... I have one in .17hmr and it is a superb bit of kit, the trigger is wonderful - and I shoot an Anschutz in competition, I would say that the trigger is just as good. Cheers Richard Quote Link to post
jamie g 17
the build mite not be as good as the annie. but the stock on the hw is alot better then the annie stock and the grain is lovely. the annie ones look like crap. as for the triggers yes there nice but i perfer the annie trigger as mne is single stage. it can be adjusted for pull and weight and being single stage it seams to break more easy. that said value for money then the hw has to be up there with the annie and the sako Quote Link to post
jamie g 17
Just read jamies advice, and Im exactly the opposite on triggers. im not saying hes wrong and im right, hes probably been using rimmies a lot longer than me , so no offence meant, but...... ive been looking for a two stage trigger for my Marlin and cant find anything. I find that the two stage triggers seem to suit me down to the ground !! strange isnt it. What suits one person dosent always suit the next. On this subject which is best ? .17 hmr or .22lr ( JUST MESSIN, but you get my drift !!) Sorry for getting off track there folks. Jamie, can you get a two stage trigger for the annie ? hi mate you can get the two stage trigger for the anni but its extra. i think most people that have shot air rifles for a long time like to carry on using 2 stage on there rimfire and centrefires when they move on to them. i like 2 stage triggers but when there adjusted right. i dont like a real long 1st stage. but of course we all like different things and you got to pick best for your shooting and what you find best Quote Link to post
Nobby 65
I think you should buy one Ian Quote Link to post
cbw 4
My annie has the two stage trigger and I love it!!!! If you want the nice stock you can spec it with the Montecarlo stock this is really good walnut with rosewood 'bits' again i love mine but you do get a bit precious about chucking it in the nettles or over a fence!!! cbw Edited November 6, 2008 by cbw Quote Link to post
