Hannah4181 260
It is really easy to make - ingredients: 1lb liver 1lb flour Plain 3 eggs 2 cloves garlic 1 teaspoon oil splosh of milk Liquidise liver with eggs, milk, oil & garlic in blender. Add to flour & mix Put into a baking tin lined with grease proof paper and bake for about 40 mins on a lowish heat. It will have the same look and consistency as a victoria sponge when ready. Cut into slices & freeze. Defrost when ready to use - don't defrost too much at once as it goes mouldy quite quickly (as if it would get a chance to!) Dogs would kill for this! It is extremely useful for training if broken up into small pieces.

Hannah4181 260
I had a bet once and lost. . . . . yes i tried it! If i hadn't of made it and seen what the liver looks and smells like, then i wouldn't have been sick! A guy i know really likes it!!! My dogs are fed raw, but this is so good for them they have it all the time. Also cheap compared to lots of treats you can buy. I really would put money on every dog loving this! My Jack russel has been taught lots of tricks over the years, if i hold a piece of liver cake up in front of him and don't say anything, he will go through all the tricks he knows off his own back, in the desperate hope i'll drop the cake! I should video it and post it, very funny!
Guest hyperion
Have you tried soft toys with a squeaker? My pup loves his fluffy duck and spends hours setting off the duck noise inside. Can normally always hear a quacking coming from the kitchen! Also no more than 5 mins at a time with such a young pup, for training etc. They learn a lot more with little and often. yeah! hes got the quacking duck but hes only interested in it when its quacking as soon as it stops hes either off some where else or back trying to bite my hand or chewing my leg! Sounds stupid but when he bites you, scream/shout really loudly then ignore him! The level of noise should interrupt the behaviour and he'll gradually learn that doing it will frighten him and get him no where. It's what mature wolves in a pack would do to pups as a method of telling them off. Also frozen raw butchers bones are fab for teething and should keep him busy for a couple of hours, then he'll be exhausted from chewing and sleep!
Rory4 267
wouldnt give him prk scratchings for sure too much salt! my pup was nipping hands & feet & bottom of trousers. she nearly stopped, stops when i say no! rolled up tiny bit of paper soft tap on nose some reason dont like. wont hurt do it that soft must be noise or feel or something! When learning the pup to retreive stay in doors or in an enclosed space for awhile till the dog gets the hang of it. Torment him with the toy get him worked up then throw it doesn't have to be very far if he brings it back your ahead of the game couple more times then stop. Lots of praise etc. If it dont work dont give up, a rabbit skin is usually good for getting them interested, same as before indoors until your confident about his retreiving then take it outside and start increasing the distance.
